One A&P position available.

From early May, 2010

Responsibilities: Troubleshooting, repairs and installations and assistance with annual inspections on light General Aviation aircraft.

Location: Elizabethton Municipal Airport: 0A9, Elizabethton, TN

We specialize in providing experience for pre-missionary mechanics.

Potential areas of exposure (technical and otherwise):
General and routine maintenance, repairs and servicing
Troubleshooting
Research
Contact with the public
AD research and compliance
Quality and production-timeliness
Sheet metal repair

A Cessna 172 for flight experience for a reasonable rate and time/work exchange while available.

Requirements:
A&P Certificate
Personal hand tools
Team-work orientation, accuracy, job concentration, good work ethic and honesty
Compliance with regulations and supervision
Completion of work schedule and dependability
Background résumé with 3 references (2 from employers)

The East Tennessee area provides a beautiful and tranquil setting in the Appalachian Mountains with the unique attributes of mountain water falls, camping, hiking trails, story telling, Nascar racing, the birthplace of country music, low cost of living and 2 interstate highways. This is the same location of the home of Mission Safety International and where Moody Aviation was for a majority of its history.
