HOTEL and LODGING INFORMATION

We will meet after Tuesday’s activities at San Diego Christian College (SDCC) for a welcome aboard meal and campus tour.

El Cajon does not have many nice hotels, therefore we have arranged preferred rates at two local golf resorts with lodging, and a Days Inn hotel near “Hotel Circle” in Mission Valley – approximately 25 minutes away.

The preferred lodge is the Sycuan Golf Resort Lodge, which is closer and nicer than any other. It is about 4 miles from SMCC and very beautiful. They have given us a nice discount in a safe, rural setting.

Click on the links for each hotel for rate and reservation instructions. Most hotels have a booking deadline of May 5th (30 days prior to conference). After that date our pre-negotiated hotel rates will no longer apply.

There are other hotels in El Cajon, Santee, La Mesa and greater San Diego and you are welcome to search for them. But we feel the ones we have chosen will be safe, clean, and restful. Be sure to read the reviews if you use Trip Advisor website or other internet hotel search engines.

I have also included links to maps showing the route and distance from the hotels to SMCC and from the hotels to San Diego Christian College where we will meet on Tuesday for a welcome aboard presentation and meal:

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS - PREFERRED OPTIONS

SPECIAL NOTE: The last day to reserve a room under the pre-negotiated discounted rates is May 6, 2017. After May 6, 2017, the lower pricing cannot be guaranteed.

The 2017 IAMA Conference will be primarily in El Cajon: Shadow Mountain Community Church (SMCC) 2100 Greenfield El Cajon, 92019

Links to maps showing the route and distance from the hotels to Shadow Mountain Community Church (SMCC) and from the hotels to San Diego Christian College (SDCC) where we will meet on Tuesday for a welcome aboard presentation and meal are included below:

Sycuan Golf Resort and Lodge (El Cajon) **Preferred**
Closest, nicest, most secure and beautiful.

Carlton Oaks Golf Resort and Lodge (Santee)
Nicer than any hotel in the area except Sycuan Golf Resort and Lodge. It is close to San Diego Christian College but 15 minutes to SMCC

Days Inn Hotel Circle (Mission Valley)
A nice hotel with continental breakfast, close to airport and recreation/entertainment like the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and San Diego’s famous beaches.

OTHER HOTELS IN THE EL CAJON AREA

There are other hotels in El Cajon, Santee, La Mesa and greater San Diego and you are welcome to search for them. But we feel the ones we have chosen (as seen in the “HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS – PREFERRED OPTIONS” section) will be safe, clean, and restful. Be sure to read the reviews if you use Trip Advisor website or other internet hotel search engines:

This is a most amazing opportunity to know Mary and hear the deeper meaning behind her amazing songs, many of which will be featured in a mini-concert at the banquet later Thursday evening.

Click here to learn more about Dr. David Jeremiah!

We are pleased to offer an exceptional opportunity to hear Dr. David Jeremiah as our keynote speaker in the new “Generations Building” event center. IAMA guests will be blessed, engaged, and challenged by Dr. Jeremiah, founder of Turning Point Radio and Television Ministries and senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church. He was raised in Ohio, the son of a Baptist minister and married his sweetheart Donna Thompson while attending Cedarville College. He earned his master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1967, and his Doctorate in Divinity from Cedarville College in 1981. He pastored the Blackhawk Baptist Church in Fort Wayne from 1969 until he moved to San Diego in 1981. Dr. Jeremiah became senior pastor of Scott Memorial Baptist church, now Shadow Mountain Community Church, succeeding Pastor Tim LaHaye. Shadow Mountain Community Church is one of the largest churches in San Diego County. It is also the home of Southern California Seminary and Christian Unified Schools. In 1982 Dr. Jeremiah founded Turning Point Ministries, bringing the Word of God to over 200 million homes around the globe through 2200 stations worldwide. A noted author, Dr. Jeremiah has published dozens of Christian books including his most recent: People Are Asking…Is This the End?.

A dedicated family man, Dr. Jeremiah believes that without the support and encouragement of his wife, Donna, Turning Point would have never been brought into existence. He and Donna have four grown children and twelve grandchildren. Dr. Jeremiah’s commitment is to teach the whole Word of God. His passion for people and his desire to reach the lost are evident in the way he communicates Bible truths and his ability to get right to the important issues. Dr. Jeremiah continues to be excited to see what God is going to do in broadcast ministry around the world through the Ministries of Turning Point.
