Mission Aviation Training Academy
Mission Aviation Training Academy exists for the purpose of spreading the Gospel farther and faster through the equipping and training of pilots for mission aviation ministry. This includes helping pilots meet the qualifications for major mission aviation organizations, as well as smaller, independent mission aviation ministries.
Missionary Flight Training, Inc.
MMS Aviation prepares people and planes for worldwide mission service. People are prepared to serve as missionary airplane mechanics through a thirty-month aviation maintenance apprenticeship program. Over the course of the program, each apprentice logs a minimum of 4,800 hours of hands-on experience performing the actual maintenance, modification, and repair of missionary aircraft from ministries all over the world. Because MMS is a full-time faith-based mission, apprentices are also introduced to the non-technical realities of mission service and the challenges of full-time ministry.
In special situations where a broken airplane can’t be flown, trailered, or shipped to our facility in Coshocton, OH, MMS will send a “Rapid Response Team” of mechanics to the airplane.
Since 1975, MMS has provided maintenance services to 96 different ministries, placed 64 graduates in field service, sent 128 Rapid Response teams to locations around the world, and performed more than 475 major repairs and restorations of missionary aircraft. A unique part of our ministry is that we do not charge mission organizations for our labor.
In 2010, MMS mechanics and apprentices worked on 31 aircraft from 15 different ministries and invested over 11,000 maintenance man-hours in mission aircraft repair, overhaul, and modification. Currently, MMS has 14 families serving as core staff and there are 5 apprentice families in the program.

Agape Flights Inc.
Agape Flights Inc. is a Christian aviation ministry transporting continuous and critical supplies to over 300 missionaries, their families and their missions throughout Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas. Agape is committed to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through the missionaries it serves.
Our purpose is scripturally aligned with our mission statement where the apostle Paul gives us a clear picture of God’s desire for us to “supply the needs of the saints.” For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of saints, but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9:12. With that clear mandate, we are committed to continuous and critical support of our missionaries, their families and their unique missions.
Nearly thirteen million people live in the areas regularly reached by Agape’s flights to Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. The critical supplies transported to over 300 missionaries, their families, and their missions are used to change lives, one person at a time. Each year, Agape Flights touches the lives of over one million men, women, and children through its affiliated missionaries who provide clean water, community health, education, evangelism, medical services, micro enterprise, orphan care, and vocational training.
Serving Christ by Serving His Missionaries
AIM AIR is a Christian missionary aviation team operating six aircraft from three bases in east and central Africa. Our team of pilots, mechanics, avionics techs, and administrators serve the needs of 50+ Christian organizations and hundreds of missionaries.
The airplanes we fly are tools, moving missionaries, pastors, and cargo over some of the world’s most inhospitable terrain, to bring hope, and the Good News, to some of the world’s most forgotten peoples.

JAARS exists to make Bible translation and language development possible, especially in the most remote and difficult places on earth. Since 1948, we’ve provided logistical solutions and equipment to help linguists and translators work effectively in off-the-grid locations.
In particular, our focus is in four areas: transportation, technology, media, and training. Relative to missionary aviation, we provide partners like SIL and affiliates of the Wycliffe Global Alliance with aircraft, pilot and mechanic training, operating and safety standards, field operating support, parts supply, research & development, and more. We operate from the 550-acre JAARS Center and Townsend Field in North Carolina, conducting training at our own airport and a range of landing strips here and in the North Carolina mountains. Our aviation staff is involved in recruiting, training, FBO management, commercial repairs, training fleet maintenance, field needs assessment, acquisition and preparation of aircraft for global partners, and more.
Please visit JAARS for more information about aviation initiatives, current field projects, staffing needs, opportunities to engage with JAARS, and the wide range of non-aviation solutions we provide to our mission partners.

Missionary Safety International
Missionary Aviation is not for the faint of heart. Flying in remote areas of the world helping to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ requires years of training and a heart full of devotion. Yet, in spite of the dedication and professionalism of most aviation staff, there are still far too many accidents robbing missions of their effectiveness.
With Moody Aviation, you can train to be a missionary pilot mechanic or maintenance specialist and develop technical and spiritual skills to equip you for the rigors of mission work. Experience comprehensive training that will prepare you to meet the challenges presented by missions flying and maintenance in diverse environments.
When you major in Missionary Aviation Technology, you decide a speciality focus—Flight or Maintenance—and train using a wide variety of mission-specific equipment, including tailwheel and high performance aircraft.
